HISTORY

Started playing at 12. Studied under private tuition under Colin Aldridge. Played with and recorded with Jazz, Country and Folk Bands, Bristol Concert Windband and New Parkway Showband. Recorded for BBC, Bristol. Met Colin Woolway a few years ago. Got involved with teaching the Drumsense Programme and have not looked back since.

I believe in being able to play varied styles of music, to play with other musicians at any opportunity and to play for the music.

DRUMSENSE

Colin Woolway has done a great job with this learning programme, by simplifying the way we count helps to make playing the drums easier and therefore more enjoyable.

By applying the exercises to the Play Along CD's recommended gives the student an insight into why he/she learns the grooves and fills around the kit.

Drumsense is a great programme for beginners and the more seasoned players out there and it certainly helped my playing and creativity.

I get satisfaction out of seeing a complete novice play a basic rock groove at his/her first lesson.
